This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate should be comfortable getting out of the office, visiting properties, inspecting work, meeting contractors, solving problems and stepping in when necessary.

Inspect completed contractor work

Concierge Lake George provides private home services for homeowners throughout the Lake George region.
We care for privately owned residences, particularly second, third and fourth homes whose owners may spend part of the year away from the area. Our clients rely on us to make sure their homes are clean, maintained, secure and ready for their arrival.
Unlike a vacation-rental or Airbnb cleaning service, our housekeepers work with individual families and their private residences. The goal is not simply to clean a house between guests. It is to become familiar with the home, understand the family's preferences and provide consistent, personalized household care.
The Opportunity
Concierge Lake George is seeking a professional Housekeeper to work with one of our private client families and care for their Lake George residence.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced housekeeper who takes pride in providing a high level of personalized service.
The successful candidate will become familiar with the family's preferences, the layout and details of the home, and the way the homeowners like their property maintained.
This position requires someone who is trustworthy, discreet, detail-oriented and genuinely takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities

Maintain the home while the family is in residence
Laundry & Linens
Wash, dry, fold and put away household laundry
Change and make beds
Care for linens, towels and other household textiles
Maintain organization of linen closets
Follow specific instructions for delicate or specialty items
Monitor household supplies and notify the appropriate CLG team member when replenishment is needed

Report damaged, missing or malfunctioning items
Notify CLG when household supplies need to be replenished
Provide feedback regarding issues noticed while working in the home
Maintain appropriate communication regarding the family's preferences and requests
Privacy & Discretion
Because this position involves working inside a private family residence, trust and discretion are essential.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family's personal information, schedule and activities
Never discuss clients or their homes outside of appropriate CLG channels
Respect personal belongings and private spaces

Previous professional housekeeping experience

A strong understanding of high-quality residential cleaning
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
A professional appearance and demeanor
The ability to work independently

Reliable transportation
The ability to maintain confidentiality
A genuine pride in providing exceptional service
Experience working for private families, estates, executive households, luxury residences or high-end hospitality environments is particularly valuable.
The Right Person
The right person understands that there is a difference between cleaning a house and taking care of someone's home.
They notice when something is out of place. They know when linens need to be replaced. They recognize when a homeowner's preferred products are running low. They remember how a particular room is arranged and how the family prefers things to be done.
Most importantly, they understand that they are being trusted inside someone's private home.
We are looking for someone who takes that responsibility seriously and wants to build a long-term relationship with the family they serve.
Schedule
The schedule will be based on the needs of the client family and may include:
Regular weekly housekeeping
Additional service during periods when the family is in residence
Pre-arrival preparation
Post-departure housekeeping
Additional hours surrounding holidays, gatherings or special occasions
The position is not a vacation-rental turnover position, and the successful candidate will generally work with the same private family and residence on an ongoing basis.
